- Includes Heat Pump with Gas back-up heat or straight Heat Pump
- Excludes systems that are leased or lease to purchase agreements
$600 for 15 (Energy Star Rated) SEER efficiency rating or higher or $300 for lower than 15 (Non Energy Star Rated) SEER efficiency rating rebate when changing from gas heat to an electric heat pump or dual fuel.
Requirements:
- Attic insulation minimum of R-30
- Double pane or storm windows
- All ductwork in unconditioned area insulated
- Installation completed by licensed HVAC Contractor
- Copy of sales contract with complete product information and a copy of AHRI certificate
- Request for allowance within 90 days of installation
REPLACE GAS WATER HEATER WITH ELECTRIC
- Rebate of $400 for water heater with 12 year or better limited tank & parts warranty
- Rebate of $400 for Marathon or heat pump water heater
- Rebate of $200 for water heater with less than 12 year limited tank & parts warranty
Requirements:
- Minimum 50-gallon tank
- Hot water pipe insulated a minimum of 6 ft. from top of tank
- Cold water pipe insulated a minimum of 2 ft. from top of tank
- Receipt for water heater tank showing warranty period
- Request of allowance within 90 days of installation
