Extreme cold, winter storm watch

An extreme cold warning is in effect from 1 a.m. to noon Monday, Jan. 20. Now is the time to think about what you wished you had done to prepare your home and family for Winter Storm Cora and put that plan into action. Perhaps you wished you had covered your outdoor faucets, let your sinks drip, opened the cabinet doors and prepared a warm place for your pets. Stay tuned to your local media stations for weather updates and stay safe. No matter what the weather, GreyStone is here for you, and we are prepared for what comes our way.

A winter storm watch is in effect from Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning. Periods of snow could be moderate to heavy at times. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 3 inches are possible. Light sleet and freezing rain will be possible in portions of east central Georgia late Tuesday night. Ice accumulations less than 0.1 inch are possible. There is the possibility for downed trees and power lines as well.
